There are actors who can be infected by a single shared idea. Then they create their role together with you, in accordance with the meaning of that idea. In others, that seed of understanding doesn’t make an impression.
 
They dilute its essence, and thereby dissolve it to the point of invisibility. In that way, I yielded to Valentin Smirtinksiy’s kind charm, instead of strictly setting out that underlying meaning. Thanks to that, our Mercutio turned out decidedly…formless.
